The BRAZIL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, created and governed by the law of civil associations of non-profit private law and, disregarding what has become the popular understanding of such entities, is neither a Non-Governmental Organization - NGO, let alone an COPI - Civil Organization of Public Interest. Unlike these, we are not granted any public money transfers, nor any tax exemptions from companies, much less from foreign entities or governments which, we understand, allows us to maintain total exemption in our actions and critical placements.
The BRAZIL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE is a purely business association and is maintained by the results of the services it provides and the collaboration of its affiliates, partners, supporters and investors who share our own ideals and projects for the best development and growth of the country in the International scenario.
